Transforming a Toronto Fashion Retailer's Online Presence
Urban Threads, a growing Toronto fashion retailer, needed to take their online store to the next level. Their existing Shopify store was limiting their growth, and they needed a solution that could handle their unique product customization requirements and growing traffic.
The existing store couldn't support their custom product configurator needs, had slow page load times affecting conversions, and lacked the advanced inventory management features needed for their multi-location business. They also wanted to implement AR try-on features to reduce returns.
We migrated them to Shopify Plus with a completely custom theme and developed a React-based product configurator. We implemented a headless architecture for the product pages to achieve sub-second load times. The AR try-on feature was built using AR.js, allowing customers to virtually try products before purchasing.
